Care Fees
In 2008 approximately 70,000 homes were sold to pay for Long Term care fees in the UK.
If you have capital exceeding £22250 (including savings, investments and property) your local council will assess you as being able to meet the full cost of your care home. This figure falls slightly to £22000 in Wales.
You do not need to be forced into this situation, provided you act promptly to protect your assets.
The Lansdown Place Asset Protection Trust (APT) is a proven method of ring-fencing assets away from the reach of current regulations.
A typical arrangement will cost less than £1000 with complete peace of mind that assets of any value will remain in trust for your chosen beneficiaries.
