Limiting the Downside
At Lansdown Place, we know that some events are unavoidable. Much as we wish it could be different, some of our clients will fall ill, or even die prematurely. What we can do is work with you to ensure that if the worst happens your responsibilities will be taken care of.
Financial Dependants and Death
The State will look after the basic financial needs of those who are without assets or income. Unfortunately, the level of support is restricted to catering for the bare essentials and are often completely inadequate given the commitments most families have undertaken to provide a home and lifestyle. You can, however, put measures in place now to ensure that your financial dependants can maintain a level of lifestyle and security that you feel is appropriate should you suffer a serious illness or, should your time come early.
Help is at Hand
Your Lansdown Place adviser can recommend a range of solutions that can ensure a continuity of income throughout any lasting illness, and a lump sum, if your illness is of the life changing variety, such as a heart attack or cancer. In the worst case, on death, then the plans we recommend will put the right amount of money in the right hands at the right time.
As Independent Advisers, we will be reviewing the whole market. However, getting the right cover at the right price is not as straightforward as it looks, and this is one of those areas where taking advice really pays off.
