At Lansdown Place we are passionate about supporting local groups or charities to help change things for the better.
On the 11th-12th of May, eleven intrepid members of our team set off on a big old walk across the glorious Quantock Hills, Britain’s first ever Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The challenging 35 mile walk is to help raise funds for the St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation.
The St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation is the philanthropic arm of St. James’s Place Wealth Management Group. It has been supporting those in need by awarding grants to registered charities in the UK, since 1992. Charities that help support children and young people with special needs through illness, disability or mental health problems, are a main focus of the Foundation. Other charities include The Hospice Movement and various Cancer charities for people of all ages. To date, the St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation has raised and distributed over £81 million in grants, helping to make a positive and lasting difference to many people’s lives.
