Welcome Back – Lansdown Place Office reopens to clients

Since the beginning of lock down all of our staff have been working at home, with a maximum number of three staff in our office at any one   time  to  administer  post  and    phone  messages.  We  have  been  overwhelmed  by   their   positive   response   to these  new  working  conditions,  and  we   believe   they   have   done  a tremendous  job  of  looking  after   our   clients   in   what has been extraordinary circumstances.

With new guidelines from the government now allowing businesses  to make a slow move out of lock down, we are now considering our next steps to be able to provide our clients with face to face meetings, both at our office and at their homes from the early part of July, this will be by appointment only.

Social Distancing and Safety at the Office

We have taken every measure to provide a safe meeting space at the office, from your arrival at the car park where ample space will be provided to ensure social distancing rules can be adhered to, to sanitation stations in the office to ensure hygiene is maintained to a very high standard. Our meeting room allows three people to meet at a time, whilst still complying with the recommended distancing requirements, and presentations will be conducted using technology to ensure paperwork is not passed from one person to another. If a meeting at our office is of interest to you please contact your adviser or our office, details at the foot of this newsletter, and we can provide you with a full list of measures we have taken with regards to office safety.


Meeting at your home

Lansdown_Place_meeting_at_homeYou may wish to consider a meeting at your home or business – in the garden, or outdoor area. Providing social distancing rules can be adhered to, and weather allowing, our advisers are happy to meet with you this way. Any documentation needed for the meeting will be emailed to you beforehand to ensure that there is no requirement for paperwork to be passed around – in the event that paperwork does need to be handed over, our advisers will  be provided with gloves to reduce any risks to you or them.


Like many of you, we have become very adapt at using technology as a means of communicating with our clients and during the last few months we have successfully conducted many client meetings using Microsoft Teams and other similar software. Microsoft_Teams_Image

This media is something we intend to very much carry on using in the future, and is, on occasion, much more convenient for many of our clients than conventional face to face meetings.
