Instead you get exactly the service your require, whether that is acquiring a new investment product, reshaping your current portfolio or simply making sure that everything is in the right place. We have a menu of charges which sets out the options for covering the cost of our advice, whether through commissions, fees or by retainer. You remain in complete control at all times.

Your Existing Investments
We are happy to take over your existing portfolio of collective investments and manage that for you. We would expect that most of these will be perfectly suitable, but we will suggest any tweaks that we think will be advantageous to you. We can also supply up-to-the-minute valuations of your portfolio at any time.

The Principles of Investing
The first principle of investing is to allocate your assets so that funds are available at the times when you think you will need them and payable in the way you need to access them. Following this approach allows you to identify pools of money that you can invest against particular time horizons. This is largely a matter of review, discussion and common sense, but we think it is the cornerstone of any good investment strategy.
The second strand to investing is ensuring that you maximise the taxation advantages of the various options available to you. Investing for tax advantages alone is to be avoided, however there are significant advantages to be gained by using the right investment vehicle. Expert knowledge is essential as not all the tax implications of products are easily explained, or necessarily obvious
Risk is the third element. Whilst reward is generally proportional to risk, this is not always the case. We are conservative in our outlook and will help you understand the full implications of the potential risks as they relate to you personally. At an emotional level if a loss would cause you sleepless nights or deep regrets, then taking a risk with your capital is not for you.
The final task is placing and maintaining your investment with the right providers and funds. This is a complex task as the market extends across economic, currency and geographic boundaries and allows you to invest in just about every area imaginable.
We will make positive recommendations on funds and managers.
You are not certain to make a profit: You may make a loss. You may not get back the full amount you invested.
